Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
Yuvia believes everyone should be able to learn about and access compounded telehealth, including people with disabilities. We work to make yuvia.health usable for the widest possible audience and welcome feedback when we fall short.
1. Our commitment
We are committed to providing a website and patient experience that is accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time certification.
2. Conformance standard
Yuvia targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ("WCAG") version 2.1, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium. We measure ourselves against this standard and continuously work to address gaps.
3. Steps we've taken
We've designed and built yuvia.health with the following accessibility considerations:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, landmarks, and labels.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- Keyboard-navigable interactive elements (buttons, links, form controls).
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Alt text for images that convey information.
- Captions and transcripts on instructional video content where used.
- Forms that are usable with screen readers and that provide clear error messages.
- Responsive layout that works at a range of screen sizes and zoom levels.
- Time-based controls (such as our marketing quiz progress) that do not auto-advance without user input.
4. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of yuvia.health may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working on improvements in these areas:
- Custom dropdown and modal components may lack a complete set of ARIA attributes for some screen reader and browser combinations.
- Our marketing quizzes use animated transitions between questions; users with vestibular disorders should enable the "reduce motion" preference in their operating system, which we honor.
- Some third-party embedded content (such as Stripe Checkout) is not under our direct control.
If you encounter a specific issue not listed here, please report it using the contact method below so we can prioritize a fix.
5. Third-party content
yuvia.health includes content and services from third parties, including Stripe (payment processing), Healthie (electronic health record), and Framer (website hosting). While we work to select vendors that meet accessibility standards, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content embedded in our pages.
6. Alternative ways to access
If you cannot access a particular page or complete an intake using assistive technology, email hello@yuvia.health with "Accessibility Assistance" in the subject line. We will work with you to find an alternative path, including providing information by email or arranging assistance with completing the intake.
7. Report an accessibility issue
We welcome reports of accessibility issues. To help us understand and address the problem, please include:
- The URL of the page where you experienced the issue.
- The assistive technology and browser you were using (for example, "VoiceOver on Safari on macOS").
- A description of what went wrong.
- Any error messages or screenshots, if available.
Send the report to hello@yuvia.health. We aim to acknowledge reports as soon as we can.
8. Formal complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division at civilrights.justice.gov.
